How to login and get access to RBM
In order to get access to RBM, you must be allocated a license by your organisation. This will be done by someone who has ServiceNow Administration permissions and who may be specifically responsible for managing RBM Users. On being allocated an RBM license, your permissions will be dictated by the type of role you have been given.
As a Manager or Author you will have certain editing and action permissions.
As a Task Operator you will have permissions to activate and complete tasks assigned to you or your team. You will also have full visibility of Events, Runbooks and Tasks, in Events where you have been added as a Team Member, but your permissions to edit the Task Description, Technical Detail, activate or complete tasks and raise Issues, will be limited to the tasks to which you have been assigned.
If you are an existing ServiceNow user, you will be able to use your usual login details. If you are new to ServiceNow, your login details will be sent to you via your ServiceNow Administrator. On first login, you will be prompted to change your password to something memorable to you.

Once logged in to ServiceNow, click on the All menu option and type in Runbook.

Runbook Workspace will appear on your list.

Click on the star to favourite the application and you will then be able to click on the Favourite menu option each time you log in to access RBM.
